A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'

DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.

SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'

The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often

The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.

'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

I was thinking that it might be deliberately added in to attract attention... so that there will be news abt it to make him famous... but on the other hand, xiao zhu is alr very famous in yu le bai fen bai... why would he need to do tt?

Well... hmmm... so the news shld be quite true...

Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen,for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away.



Some people are too tired to give you a smile.

Hmmm... where shld i start? random blogging...

Just came back not too long ago from the outing with my ex-colleagues to cine's k buffet... Hmmm... the sashimi not bad.. ate quite a lot of it... lost confidence in singing... cmi... haiz... dunno wat's gd in me... earlier on met up with sj. accompanied him to tiong bahru plaza to pass his fren things then to penin plaza to meet ps to get taiwan photos but couldn't managed to contact ps then we walked to Plaza Singapura to get my jeans bought on monday.

Monday: went out with cn and sj to e2max. after tt cn wanted to buy earpiece. so we went to the music store at the 1st lvl of cathay then to ps and we saw "creative" so went in to take a look. after browsing for quite some time, then i realised my tennis fren is working there. lol. must take a 2nd look to cfm it's her. still as pretty as ever, if not, prettier. went on to talk to her. later on she helped cn to search for his earpiece then cn bought it and said byebye and left le. sobx. after tt we went foodcourt to makan and then to the arcade near the mrt station and went home le.

My tester is Mohd bin Saini... the person who briefed us and asked us to draw lots... i was hoping he is my tester cuz he's like more friendly and then really tio him... lol... guan yin ma xian ling le... heng is not that Goh Beng Soon... sibei xialan one... this morning i was driving in the circuit and then saw a xl face... it's him... i was tinking the person who tio him is so sway...

36 pts... the diff between my 1st and 2nd TP... wooo... overall circuit is okay... except for crank course i feel like got a slight bump... but is no big deal... i tink is the unevenness of the ground... after tt went out to the road... didn't do U-turn at all... cuz i tink the traffic quite heavy... got 1 time the traffic light turned amber then i quickly zham brake... then my car is like blocking the predestrian crossing... but nobody is using the crossing... then i tinking whether this one will deduct points anot... in the end is dun haf... heng ah...

Friday 18/4/08

Went to eat at Glutton's Bay at the Esplanade with my colleagues cuz got 1 batch of guys and girls are actually leaving... They treated us... Yew Mun decided to buy gifts for them so Yi Heng, Tien Boon and I tagged along... was supposed to fork in but ym paid 1st... haha... he got his eyes on someone... Besides the Glutton's Bay there is this heavy metal or rock concert... Wah... sibei noisy and annoying... turnoff... After the dinner, we went to Millenia Walk's Starbucks to sit down and chill... so much quieter... We got so many ppl that we need to squeeze but some are actually away from the main table... So they ordered some drinks and there is this guy weiliang who actually took out his camera and show us his NS trip to new zealand... the scenary is nice... and we chit-chatted until 10pm liddat... then he suggested to go to a bar and chill so we walked all the way to boat quay (near indochine) and the bar is full -__-... nvm as during the walking journey sweated quite a bit and dun haf the mood to go... so we took a grp photo and most of us went home... some of them went to the bar i tink...


Saturday 19/4/08

Went to rent graduation robe with ll, zl, cn and zj at Serangoon Broadway... Tt day i was really tired... slept for quite long and later on in the afternoon took a nap... then i was late... haha... went there myself then saw them sitting down listening to the person talking... then i went to register at the counter and after tt went to try the robe... fitted just nice i tink... then went to sit down wif em and listen to the person chirp... lolx... take wat grp photo... we were making fun of the person saying ll and zl "mei nu"... LOL... "mei nu bu pai ke xi" sth liddat i tink... haha... after tt we actually looked ard and left the place... walked to pp to eat at the chicken rice store... haha then there got 1 waitress called "qiu xiang"... damn funny... after dinner, we went to AMK Hub to watch the movie "Forbidden Kingdom"... Simple story and plot but rather i tink is a comedy... luffing at jet li's and jade king's english... hahaha... basically is to see LYF... after the show i took a cab home... surprisingly there was no midnight charge... i still asked the uncle how many %... lol... i took the cab at 11.45pm... the uncle said after 12mn then got but luckily i reached home b4 12mn... Sunday 21/4/08

Went for my driving lesson in the afternoon... Surprisingly everything went out smoothly, after so long i didnt drive (ard 2 months liddat)... After my lesson i asked my instructor to drop me off at Bishan as i'm going to yq's hse... went his house to play w11 online... will lag one... not nice... bz came... versus him as usual... after tt went to eat dinner at s11 and then went home to play dota... =D
